About Us

Nether Heyford Baptist Church is a congregation made up of people from Nether Heyford and surrounding villages in South-West Northamptonshire. The Church is situated on the village green in the heart of Nether Heyford village led by our Pastor Lee Hillyard

What we do

Nether Heyford Baptist Church is a small Church so we concentrate on just a few activities, but we try to do them well.

Every Sunday morning at 10:30 am we hold a traditional style of worship service.

The format of the services normally contains a welcome plus notices, a time of worship, prayers and a sermon, this lasts approximately an hour. We have a mixture of traditional hymns and more modern songs.

On the the last Sunday of the month in the morning we hold as part of our service communion, to which we invite all who love the lord to meet around his table.

Once a month we have an afternoon service at 4pm which is more informal with favourite hymns concluding with tea and cakes. At these services we use combined mission praise as our hymn book.

Special services are organised around the Christmas and Easter periods, and to mark other events such as Harvest and Remembrance Sunday.

Lee our Pastor oversees our services and the running of the church with the spiritual direction being his priority. As he also leads Blisworth Baptist Church, on a weekly basis we are hugely supported by Lay speakers, guest visitors, deacons and church members to lead worship and preach the good news.
